The way this works Chinu is that when you give people free stuff, their approval ratings of you go up. California has far more poor people than most other states. That means when you give them free healthcare, they are going to like it. If I stole from some rich guy and gave to you a million dollars, then you'd fine all sorts of reasons to love me, while the rich guy wouldn't like me very much.
