"Wouldn't that make sense?" Makes perfect sense. Which means that the CIA is totally clueless. It's so very efficient, stupidity and arrogance in a single package... It would make sense that if he wasn't dead/sick/severely wounded that they would release a recent videotape. It would be a great coup. Despite all the US could do, he is alive and well. The fact that they haven't indicates they can't. There really is no upside to not releasing a tape...
