I've seen this discussed several times, once in an early Business Week article, I believe. [And not surprising considering the British think nothing of leasing TVs and computer equipment, for example.] At any rate, UBS Securities has basically eliminated Nortel as a likely winner based on the fact they don't want to co-own the equipment as BT is suggesting. I'm not sure where UBS Securities got their information, so I'd take it as opinion at this point.
