sam...re: "edamo says...straight from the horses mouth?" john referenced my comments on "perception". forget about beta, theta, deltas, the whole greek alphabet...dell is in the doldrums as it is "perceived" that it has nothing exciting going forward. dell the stock, not dell the company. just posted that there is a total disconnect from company and stock in mind of the market.... tomorrow people will go to work at ibm, get paid, feed their families, regardless of how the market values ibm stock. investing has been elevated by the psuedo intellects to the level of a travesty. companies should not be taken out and summarily executed by those who play god.......as the old saying goes..."those then can do...those that can't talk about it". you will see books written about the captains of industry, men who shaped the industrial revolution,caused change and better quality of life, you will never see a book written about an analyst, as they contribute naught to society......just to their own pockets....
