This block trade is an interesting development. I would not think that this was any of the stock buyback happening yet. Typically a company so close to 5 bucks a share will use their buyback program to make sure the stock does not fall below 5 and become non-marginable. A huge block trade like today would be unnecessary to do that. It looks to me like a classic stock market war, and a big one at that. One VERY big hitter wanted to buy this stock, and one VERY big hitter wanted to dump it. One thing is absolutely sure, one of them was wrong.
