Gee, I have enough problems without guns anywhere around me. Although I bet some people in this neighborhood are armed, judging from all the loud shooting at midnight! I realize there are a lot of constitutional issues around guns, but I just continually read of so many senseless shootings almost every day that it all seems very stupid. Whatever happened to that little boy who murdered the little girl in your neighborhood, incidentally? I am SO happy I never knew my mother-in-law, who died before I met my husband. She sounds heartless and cruel, and mentally ill as well. At least she was not armed, but there are all sorts of ways to wound people.
