The Jury can figure that Russet is not telling the truth when he said he was unaware of Plames identity and thus there is reasonable doubt as to who is giving the straight version of the conversation. In addition, I would contact all of Russets friends and people he worked with to see what they knew and whether Russet ever spoke anythng that would indicate he knew Plames identity Perhaps they charged the wrong guy.
