If any of my children were treated the way that teacher treated the child with a costume on, I'd be front and center and the loudest person they had EVER run up against! Would even try to get National attention....That's precisely the kind of thing that is harmful to young children....

One of our kids was forced by her kindergarten teacher to sit outside in the hall for two hours on a chair by the door because she was talking in class....We didn't know about it until a couple of years later....The teacher had already been terminated by that time for other issues....but our child still remembers the embarrassment, and fear of being alone in the hall, and hurt feelings that only a young child would remember....Our child is now a parent of teenagers now, and still remembers that. Wish I had known about it then....
