In 10-15 years we can reduce oil use by 75% and replace it with other fuels. Then we would be completely free of OPEC. Bush's plan to drill everywhere gives us maybe 10% more fuel but wastes our environment and minimizes alternative fuel programs, so in the long-run it keeps us much more dependent on OPEC.

Let me see.....depriving ourselves of oil by conserving and being free of OPEC vs keeping our SUV's and kissing OPEC's butt. I suspect we will opt for the latter. :~((

Bush admits hydrogen is the fuel of the future but the future can be 10 years from now not in the next life-time as he sees it. Bush's priority is simple, maximum profits for his friends who put him in office. Nothing else is more important except his re-election of course.

Of course!
