Welcome Geoff! FWIW, I agree with you. The MSM has gone the way of the DNC..... straight off a cliff. Neither can be trusted to utter the whole, unvarnished truth. "I'm thinking US News and World report." They are pretty good, but they aren't a daily source of news. I watch Brit Hume, then Shep Smith on FoxNews between 6 & 8 PM. At worst, they are center/right biased. Neither of them have been scandalized by reporting bunk like most of their MSM peers. I scan all of the other news outlets just to confirm they are mostly partisan hacks pretending to be objective journalists. But mostly, I read a lot of blogs that frequently link to other credible sources that substantiate their reporting. In the end, you really need to do some of your own digging via multiple credible sources before you make up your own mind. Glad to see another Simon & Garfunkel fan. For some reason 'Flowers Never Bend in the Rainfall' tends to get stuck in my head a lot when I'm posting here. :-)
