The reason is they are blinded by their bias Dale:
    If the media, with all their money and high-tech 
    equipment, couldn't even report accurately about events 
    occurring in the US Mainland, then how can we trust them 
    to bring us truthful, accurate news from 6,000 miles away 
    in Iraq? 
    Something is desperately wrong with the way news is 
    gathered and reported by the mainstream press. And press 
    that can't be trusted to report accurately on events does 
    a disservice to their customers, and to the republic.
