But seriously: he'd better watch it. He's badly damaging his own case. What he seems to be saying is that we shouldn't take him seriously when he starts yakking about the markets. Okaaaayyy... But then why should we ever take him seriously?

Apparently the journalist who was cited in the press piece remarked also that if people were to pull their money out of the markets, well, they'd have cash on hand, wouldn't they? And what would they do with it? Spend it, maybe? And what effect would that have on the inflation rate, Unk?

So what will he say tomorrow? And why was he testifying today, anyway? I'd heard nothing about it till now.
