ngg.v - they're jv-ed with van.v at Mt Penck, likely others but i don't recall ... EC is right about the politics, there was an aussie on SI years ago explaining some of the dynamic, which partly comes from reaction to effects of OK Tedi and others, but more from general screwed-up-edness ... forgot the details, but they may have something to do with van.v's news yesterday, they're going after an 'undisclosed rare metal' in Uganda [thought EC might have something to say about that, still waiting, lol]
