It will not take long for Iran to finish preparations for the "Arab" bomb. Pakistan, a Muslim state with deep connections to terrorism and a very unstable government, is armed to the teeth with nuclear weapons. An invasion of Iran would, among other things, increase the likelihood of a Muslim revolution in Pakistan -- now that would be the ultimate threat. As for Putin, he can't control a hostage taking at a school, much less secure the nuclear materials in the former soviet union. Iran will develop the bomb and we will adjust -- had we not invaded Iraq this might have gone in a different direction.
