As I said in my post, my memory is a little hazy about this. It could have been Le Pen's rival (within their party) who was pro-Israel. I did not come up with anything searching Google. I was under the impression that this rival took over from Le Pen the leadership of their party. So this news of Le Pen doing so well in the elections is a news to me. I thought Le Pen retired. Anyway, I will read a bit more about this subject. Since Margaret Thacher retired, there is no European politician that appeals to me, and the string of French Presidents and prime ministers being at the bottom of my list, IMO, so I find some enjoyment in their embarrassment.
