Hummingbird loses competition on Windows; Fulcrum is ?
Vartan, Business Wire reports that WRQ lost a magazine competition for
X servers to WRQ Corp. This ws announced back in Jan 8. I have to believe
that this trivial event helped the stock fall $8 or so that week. Darn.
Hummingbird needs to keep up the PR, like Gandalf. Investors really listen
to that nonsense (Gandalf wins speed competition, etc.)

But now on to Fulcrum. This thinly traded stock (FUL on TSE, FULCF on Nasdaq)
is also internet dependent,
and (see home page www.fulcrum.com) offers database searchers. I bought into it
just before the drop (at 45) and bid today for it at $38. So what do
brokers think about it? Does it have a small float or what?
My good buddy works at Fulcrum and says it is a terrific place.(I did not ask
for any insider information.)
