Well, I got busy up here shortly after 9:30 or so.

I have about 2/3 the kiln glazed and loaded. Only have about14 or so bowls to glaze and stick in there, make some cone packs(and a kiln god) and time to shut the dooe.
If I decide to fire it up tonight, I suppose I will be looking to finish tomorrow about noon some time. That takes me to trues afternoon/evening before I can open the flue and crack the door a few inches(enough to know if it's successful or not :}

I wouldn't mind getting a good sleep in though before I fire it. I'd like to work on some sculpture while firing(I like to hang out next to the kiln during the whole firing process).

Kinda a PITA loading the back paret of the kiln. It's 3' deep, and I need to crawl inside to load the back part. The tricky part is placing the levels of shelves on top. One sunnder mishap, and the whole thing comes tumbling down. To my advantage, I've never had that happen. One of the processes of it you say to yourself, take your time. So what if it takes an extra 10 or 30 minutes!!!!

Break over, pack to glazing and loading.

P.S> Can't thank you enough for showing interest here. You have proven inspirational in getting this thing so far along in a semi timly fashion. Thanks again

PPS> Looks like I have an internet connection here today, so That's cool If if continues I'll log my firing notes here also.
