TSL; The five ounce silver medallion arrived today and the lady of the house was rather mildly impressed (I anticipate a little more enthusiasm from my daughter when she sees what the old man has won).

For some reason I assumed that you were a fellow Canuck rather than a New England Yankee. So I enjoyed the NAFTA symmetry of a Quebecois from Montreal (jaubin) putting up the prize (which I hope was mined in Mexico by First Majestic) and sending it to you in Massachusetts, and then having you in turn ship it across the continent to a vintage Canadian lad here on the west coast of Vancouver Island.

Much like my contest choice, POET Technologies (PTK): A genius Canadian scientist, Dr. Geoff Taylor, went to the University of Connecticut to develop the next generation computer chip over a two decade period with the result that Powered by Poet will be heard around the world on every users lips.

I think it fitting that I agree to put up the next five ounce silver medallion for first place in the 2015 ShedHead contest. No, my prize won't be re gifted; it's going to sit proudly on a plaque I'm having created (you have to celebrate every little success with these treacherous venture stocks).

But just as jaubin stated he planned on winning last year's contest, I'm doing the same this year. PTK heads for a NASDAQ listing this summer and $15 in 2015 is my mantra.

Thanks again for running this contest and I certainly appreciated that the medallion did not arrive COD.
