I just purchased a 56k sportster and the linetest software that came with the unit said both my home line and work line were not able to communicate at 56K. This sucks. I read the technical stuff, and I feel cheated. Can anyone give me some hope that I just wasted my' money. Since the explaination seems to indicate that I have digital lines instead of true analog lines, probably due to multiplexing,T1's etc, that you cant pump the needed bandwidth thru these digital connections. I hope This is not true... Can someone elaborate some positives here. Charles
