I agree that most Americans don't trust politicians as far as they can spit.......rightfully so. We are SICK AND TIRED (with a capital SICK AND TIRED) of watching elected officials/leaders do nothing about law breaking or law ignoring, so don't be so sure that people don't know or aren't paying attention to what is happening in this country.

I'm trying to see the Immigration issue from both sides.

In the last 9 months my sister has worked at Target and Home Depot, and she is shocked to find that there is a serious labor shortage. Both corporations are really, really hurting for workers to fill all positions during all hours of operation. Six people called in sick last Monday at her shop. She said the workers that did show up were grouchy and frustrated as were a some of the customers and that those who did show up were stretched super thin.

I'm beginning to understand what the Immigration Bill proponents are trying to achieve. A way to make sure that the people who want to work are legal and accounted for. (Lord knows it is becoming obvious that we need more workers) The problem with politicians is they are very poor communicators, a little bit complacent, a little bit greedy, and a little bit incompetent. In other words........they are human. But we expect Gods or God like behavior........all of the answers we like and expect.

I think the voters of this country are looking for a real leader. Someone with the desire and talent to see solutions and to implement them........like RR did in the '80s.

I also think there are a few candidates that are starting to stand out.
