<<If you are wondering why people have such a strong reaction to your implying you can't go wrong owning real estate, this is the kind of experience you are up against.>>

Grace: I don't feel like I'm "up against" anything.
Owning real estate is a financial decision and should be part of a portfiolio of investments; real estate in my case and probably yours was a calculated decision, and I have said over and over that one should *consult a financial advisor* before investing in it. Never worked with a client who didn't want to buy what I was going to be paid to sell said client. Many of my clients had the same mindset I have, which is not to let the IRS (tax man) be at the top of my personal food chain, and some of them were much more creative than I have ever tried or needed to be in terms of money management.

My clients, thankfully, have never been as sensitive or emotionial as the people that a person tends to meet on the internet.
