Good grief! Googling "Rescue Guppies" returns 5,500 results. Does the Humane Society have aquarium shelters that I'm not aware of? If so, what do they do with the fish that are not adopted? Do they flush them down some industrial toilet? This is the kind of stuff that can keep a person awake at night. Screaming tropical fish sent hurtling through sewers to their ultimate demise, all because nobody took time to adopt poor Gill and his buddies. "Rescue Gerbils" returns almost 2,800 results. I don't even want to know where those were rescued from!
