appointment will be twenty days longer than normal appointment time. the time being counted includes thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. If we back out this time.. perhaps the senate is on schedule or within normal practice to elect a person to the court in 60 days.

does twenty more days make that big a difference in the operation of the gov. that senators should be in session over the holidays?

do we just look for reasons to take shots at each other? is there any doubt he will not get appointed.
