Goldeye -- High Grade Gold found at Big Dome.

DDH G 08-32, 1.5 m of 39 g/t Au; DDH G 08-33, 3.2 m of 5.23 g/t Au including 1.2 m of 9.43 g/t Au occurring 230 m below 1998 assay of 1.4 m of 149 g/t Au

Toronto, ON - Marketweird - 02/09/09 - Goldeye Explorations Limited, GGY/TSXV is announces results obtained on its Tyrrell Township drill program.

Big Dome results:

DDH 08-32 intersected 39.3 g/t Au over 1.5 m in a 190 m undercut of DDH 98-09 that intersected 1.4 m of 149 g/t Au. Two hundred and thirty m below DDH 98-09, a second hole G 08-33 intersected 5.23 g/t Au over 3.2 m. The samples are now being assayed by screened metallics, the method of choice for dealing with coarse grained visible gold mineralization. (See www.goldeye.ca for sections and plans of new and previous holes and for pictures of the G-33 high grade sample.)

A geological compilation of the Big Dome drilling has identified a large feldspar porphyry intruding both mafic volcanics and sedimentary rocks in the Tyrrell Shear Zone. The high grade intersections occur in these lithologies proximal to the top and bottom of the felsic intrusive. In 1998, drill samples from similarly altered metasedimentary and volcanic rocks 600 meters to the west assayed 3 g/t Au over 3m at shallow depths. Another 1998 hole 100 m to the west of G 98-09 intersected 4 m of 3.28 g/t Au. Based on the improved geological model derived from the current drilling, these 1998 holes will be extended to test the high-grade mineralization associated with the footwall contact of the feldspar porphyry.
