I think you and Swan may have misunderstood my meaning...........or I totally screwed up in writing it. In the past, other minorities resulted in some decent legislation, I did not mean the most recent parliament.

My last sentence was "Unfortunately we have seen precious little of that for a few years."

I think one of the reasons we will see a decent turnout for this election is that people are fed up with the lack of transparency and co-operation. When there is true compromise, perhaps when neither side is totally happy, Canada as a whole can win.

At least one other person seems to agree:
