Albert, Re: ""Thinking Microsoft windows xp? think about Athlon xp" "Microsoft utilized AMD processors during the design, development and testing of Windows XP" we are proudly display the "designed for windows xp" logo"

Congratulations. AMD gets a Windows XP logo. Too bad you don't know what that means.

Here's a clue: thousands of applications, hardware, and devices can get a Windows logo, as long as they pass a number of tests from the Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).

On this ad, AMD or whomever is bragging that Athlon systems of been validated under Windows XP. Whoop-de-doo, now they can join the club! It still doesn't mean that Microsoft and AMD have partnered together in any kind of arm-to-arm marketing deal.

"OTOH I hope that you enjoyed your complete and utter bs very much since it did not last long :-))"

Likewise, Albert. Likewise. :-))
