And, yes, I'm an optimist, but not across the board with just any ol' stock. Considering what happened to Zitel this week, I suggest everyone take a look at the boards of directors and management teams of every company you own. I take great comfort in the Stanford connections with both Dr. Cioffi and Dr. Gibbons. These are not prior positions, but on-going. Cioffi is still on the engineering staff as full professor and Gibbons is Dean Emeritus of the School of Engineering and presently an aid to the Chancellor ---- in charge of fund-raising. (He phones people like Bill Gates, Andy Grove, and Marc Andreason (?) when he needs money.) When I commit long-term, I go for quality. Regards, Pat
