bmw I believe the point that you are referring to was never about amd-microsoft alliance but rather about decay of wintel and msft taking a stronger position in msft-intel relationship. (which is in the best interest of amd at this point) There is no reason to create an alliance unless intel would go against msft Regards -Albert
