Andy, You are absolutely right in your analysis re. the competitive advantages of Intel, and most of us on this thead have been saying that all these months. However, some herd followers, small investors as well as institutional managers, need to hear it from an analyst (no confidence or judgement of their own) to catalyze their thinking or actions. Looking at the intraday chart of AMD, I saw a steep decline setting in around 2:30 pm, just about the time the conference was concluded. Relevant or not, this is only a minor point.
