Swiss security authorities arrested a suspected Russian secret agent a few weeks before the peace summit at Bürgenstock. According to Swiss authorities, the man was trying to procure weapons and dangerous substances.

Putin has been waging a hybrid war in several Western countries for months, and in the run-up to the Bürgenstock peace conference, more and more cases of Russian espionage in Switzerland emerged.

Until now, Switzerland was considered an oasis, but that is changing, as evidenced by the arrest of a group of people who may have been plotting an attack. A Russian diplomat was arrested, as were two other men suspected to be accomplices of the diplomat. All three enjoy diplomatic immunity.

Did they form a commando preparing an attack? There is no certainty about that, but it is certain that the men were secretly trying to obtain weapons and dangerous substances in various places in Switzerland.
