" What are you talking about? An AMD socket - and an Intel socket - are ASSYMETRIC - with the processor being off centered when properly inserted into the socket. Most heat sinks have their contact plate OFF_CENTERED to match the assymetry and require the heat sink to be placed PROPERLY - in ONE ORIENTATION ONLY - on the CPU and socket. Paul
