the mania is alive and well in japan:

this translates to docomo being up around 690 dollars
per share. looks like the old split-pump is back with
a vengeance! i havent seen a stock go up that quickly
since qualcomm or theglobe.com

Mobile giant NTT Docomo was up 6.5 percent or 90,000 yen to 1.47 million yen, after it said it would carry out a five-for-one share split to boost liquidity. Parent NTT rose 3.29 percent to 408,000 yen.
