<Besides, you keep saying the reforms have worked in Mexico. Frankly, most experts say that's a small part of the changes in immigration. The big decline experienced after 2008 was the Great Recession. Now that that is in the past the experts think illegal immigration from Mexico will increase again. I am inclined to agree with them < I could not debate that the 2008/2009 financial crisis had no effect on the amount of illegal crossings. But, Mexico is BOOMING.. Really, get on a plane sometime and go to Monterrey, or DF. It is really quite incredible. Again an example of Capitalism at work.. While those poor countries of socialist Governments continue to spiral into the ground. forbes.com Uh.........I have a German friend running a plant in Popocatepetl. In the past 10 years, he says Mexico has improved but there is still a lot of impoverished Mexicans esp I the rural areas.
