But the depth and breadth of the resistance to our occupation suggest that it is an incorrect assumption. Not at all. Many people are not primarily motivated by personal freedom, esp. freedom for anyone but themselves and those close to them. The breadth and depth of this resistance is not great compared to the population of Iraq, even if it is great enough to cause trouble. Tim
