Is it "Kill the Messenger Game" again? You guys are something. Yup, it's kinda like Tiger Woods' golf game. Tiger beat a field of the best in the World by 15 strokes last weekend. Total period returns, 1/1/88 through 3/31/00: From suite101.com Nasdaq Composite 1,283.61% Morningstar average mid-cap growth fund 965.26% Morningstar average large growth fund 829.62% S&P 500 736.14% W5000 699.08% P1 = 607% (agressive portfolio under performs broad index) P2 = 487% P3 = 182% Pretty much misses the cut with P1... I think we all agree that Bob gives good advice on the radio he has helped thousands of people get out of shark infested waters He is entertaining Has good insight and is well worth listening to... but I don't use him for stock selection or portfolio selection and the market timing is questionable as Hulbert has written that Bob's asset allocation switches between the 1987 crash and getting back to fully invested hurt his performance. Lets not shoot others that happen to agree with the facts.
