I would disagree as well, I like dividends, it makes holding a stock during times like these much more pleasant (it costs you less to "wait it out").

I would have liked Intel to have maybe a 1-1.5% dividend instead of the .34% it is currently paying ( - and before anybody makes the comment, I want the payout to go up, not the share price to go down :-) )
