ok, let's think about this. msn is moving up. msft has tons of strong Internet businesses (sidewalk, hotmail, expedia). what if msft partners with att? att/ tci has athm, which has been moving up strongly, and which just bought xcit. now, add msft to the mix, and bill gets his goal of getting into YOUR living room at huge bandwidth. i think we are going to see that, and msft will be in the hunt again competing with aol/nscp.
