<<At that juncture, we brought a group of investors into the inner sanctum of our jaundiced view of the world.....
The assembled investors came out on exactly the opposite side of the spectrum from us. They concluded that there would be no dip and that the inflation outcome would be a near-perfect one -- a low but positive rate of price increase that would straddle the extremes of deflation and accelerating inflation. The assembled investors also maintained that the world forever would remain US-centric, unable to decouple from the great American growth machine. All in all, they liked equities and the dollar, and thought a modest further correction was in store for the bond market. >>

Another group of investors who think that deflation is not a problem and the bond market rally is over. Same as the conclusion of the hedgies assembled by Biggs and Wien a few mnths ago.

10-year yields to 3.5% by year-end.
