Dear Pat: Seems others have answered the reason for the high costs. If you think about it, this being a Capitalistic society and free market and all What the Gov. of Calif espouses really makes NO SENSE AT ALL. I think he is just trying to save his own skin, which likely doesnt deserve to be saved, but from my friends in Calif. it seems any idiot can get elected out there. Strange place, I love to visit but I could never live there. What concerns me more then this bump in the road is that what I would think are normally intelligent people such as you and Scumbria can be so Naive as to believe the BS that comes out of Politicians mouths. I for one ALWAYS believe management over any politician when they state a case. JDN
