Thanks for the reply!

I'm pretty good with numbers but I can't seem to come to the same answer as the marketplace when I add CSCC @ approx. $90/share and ASND @ approx $80/share, the combined company should be worth much more than $37/share......now I know that the calculations are much more complicated than that, but for simplicity, when the combined company is worth less than the lowest of the two pre-combined prices, it draws my attention. Maybe there is something fundamentally wrong. But Alas, when I go to EDGAR and read the filings, it's not there!

Am I to believe that 2 companies that have been profitable suddenly can't meet and beat business problems as they occur? Even though each has a history of doing so? Or am I to believe that the purchasing departments of the most aggressive telecom (WCOM) or the largest telecom (NTT) have suddenly decided to self-destruct and buy the worst product out there?

The old saying goes "It if seems to be too good to be true, it is" but the corollary to that is also good " If it seems too bad to be true, it is"

I have no axe to grind and a relatively small position in ASND but I sure will be interested to see how this story progresses.........great thread!
