Can you imagine the look on Colin Powell's face when he reads this transcript?

LOL. It does sound like Armey is trying to sabotage Powell, but I don't think this was planned. I give Chris Mathews credit for being able to get to the point. Dick Armey always speaks his mind, he is not what I would call a "diplomat" (which is someone who has no problem lying, or misleading).

But then, look at it this way: it may be a good negotiating strategy. Some sort of good cop, bad cop routine. Powell being the good cop, DeLay, Army being bad cops. Suddenly, Bush may look to the Arab world as very even-handed, or actually a good cop.
