Pat I read that yesterday it's a Zoom Advertisement!! It's from Boston, there are no other brands mentioned, it's an independent lab test which was paid for by.......come on now....YES!!! You got it, Zoom paid for it.

As for me I can't remember the last time lightening was a concern of mine when considering a modem purchase. Besides if lightening were to enter a house or building it is extremly more likely to come through the power lines not the phone line.
