My predictions:

- The shooter wasn't an expert. Otherwise he would have aimed for center mass. And given that it's Trump (who's both wide AND tall), there's a lot of mass to aim at.

- The shooter was probably young and influenced by video games, so he probably thought headshots were as easy to achieve IRL (gamer code for "In Real Life") as in the virtual world.

- The shooter was probably hoping to make Trump's head explode on live TV, which is why he attempted the headshot in the first place.

We'll see in the next 24-48 hours whether I'm close or not.
