Fannie and Freddie have shareholders as does BS and Lehman and AIG. True, but not relevant, and also not new, you said it before and I agreed that it was true. Government faces public pressures including voters. Government acts based on political incentives. The private sector acts to try to make money. GSE's are a mixed bag in that they are supposed to make money, but they are subject to political control. What preferential treatment are you talking about? I've already posted it to you. If your not going to read my answers, why should I answer your questions?
