I've noticed in recent days the size of the blocks for GSII have been
going up steadily. Typical GSII day is usually a 1X10 or something similiar which is an indication the market maker is offering 100 shares simply because no one cares. However, lately, the size of the blocks at the bid have been 60X10 and 25X10 or similiar numbers. In my humble opinion, I believe someone is accumulating. Almost hit 4 today and then proceeded to sell of to 3 1/16X 3 3/8. Weird thing is it sold off similiarly last week to 2 5/8 from 3 3/8 or something like that. Wonder if it will bounce again. Looks like resistance at 4 and
temporary support at 3. If this things breaks 4, look out. Right now, the key is to base at 3 for the next leg up. This was a 25 dollar stock at one time and directors do hold a significant part of the float so if a US Surgical or Guidant attempts to take them out, GSII might get a decent premium, I figure at least 7, hopefully more. The JNJ's, US Surgicals and Guidants are way too big although GSII seems to have the sales model in order which gives them a fighting chance. The positive news about all of this is the technology is GSII's now and if GDT wants to sell it, guess where they have to go. Before this, they didn't need GSII. It seems like they do now. The next few months will be very interesting. Stock trading at pennies above cash value. Surprised they don't try a poision pill. :)
