Another good try at a dodge. You know as well as I that the abolitionist movement was heavily influenced by Christian beliefs and initially most or all of its proponents were religious- -Quakers in fact.

Your argument is that because Bush may be being influenced by his religious beliefs, his thoughts and actions are necessarily bad. I give you the abolitionist movement as a counter example. I think your only choices are to cede your point about Bush or say the abolitionists were wrong.

And even then, you've still got over 200 years of US history to rewrite.
