David: I appreciate the long-term view, but I am moved to make just a few comments about the short-term. I say this as one who, having returned last Wednesday from a trip (I live in Germany at the moment), saw the posts and the Instinet quote, and laid down to take a nap, only to wake up to a nightmare. But look at what has happened in just, what 6 days? Here we are again at 60. Amazing.
When I was riding the train up from Munich, I read a little story on the back page of the first section of the Journal: "USRX Ships Modems." I smiled. I saw that USRX was coming back. This stock has always come back. Those guys like Van Wagoner are just wrong: this company makes great products (comparisons to wanna-bes like Zoom are incredible).
The crushing blow dealt by the Street to the COMS deal was all psychology (short-term psychology). And what a buying opportunity. I bought down to 56, when I ran out of money (margin). So what's my point? That YOU have been right: USRX is fundamentally superior. Those fundamentals are now asserting themselves (the market environment does not hurt either). I am a novice investor, but novices who buy low and sell dear make money. The rest is just noise. Keep up your posts: I profit from reading you. |
