The president is described by a source with direct knowledge as “seething” at Pelosi. It's that anger thing. He sees himself as being betrayed by former friends and allies.. It is a remarkable break between two powerful party elders More like foreseeable than remarkable. As long as there are people around him, with whatever motives, saying "Hang in there, Joe. There's nothing wrong with you. You're the President", then that's who he'll listen to and believe. Watch him turn on others besides Pelosi who he'll be seeing as enemies out to get him.
