Shalom, I think perhaps you need to read some history to see what happened during the Inquisition, and during World War II as well. Certainly not all Christians acted badly, and many have done good works throughout history. But Christianity has also caused some problems, and perhaps if we could understand how these happened, similar things would not have to happen again. Maybe you could also study the mainstream Christian churches which have accepted homosexuals into their congregations, and often into their ministries. Some of the things you say are simply factually untrue.
I can see I have got you upset, because you are throwing Bible verses at me, but that is not my intent. If you are secure within your beliefs that is good, and you should not feel threatened.
I would not want to be at the feet of Jesus, and I think from what I have read of him that he would consider that unnecessarily subservient behavior. But I bet we could have fun talking and laughing and hugging each other!!! |
