Deutsche Telekom Selects Orckit FastInternet(TM) ATM ADSL System for Country-wide Deployment Joint Fujitsu Limited and Orckit Communications Offering Selected TEL AVIV, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Deutsche Telekom announced today that it has selected Orckit Communications Ltd. (Nasdaq: ORCTF - news) and Fujitsu Limited (OTC Bulletin Board: FJTSY - news) as a supplier for its country-wide Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line deployment. Orckit and Fujitsu will be supplying Orckit's FastInternet(TM) Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer (DSLAM) System over a two year period, with a minimum order commitment of 35,000 ADSL modem lines. The DSLAM and ADSL systems will be deployed initially in eight major German cities, including Hamburg, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Bonn, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich. biz.yahoo.com
